Things To Know!
Small notes that will hopefully answer any questions you may have.

Overnights and Full Day Sittings
Overnight sittings would be me staying at your house overnight and keeping your pet company. I would show up between 4pm-8pm and leave in the morning between 8-11am. My time frame is all dependent on my schedule that day. I, personally, do not like leaving pups alone for more than 6-7hrs at a time, but I know some dogs are used to being alone for 6-8hrs so I will do my best to keep to your pups schedule. Rates vary($60-$80) depending on distance from my house and if your pup will need an afternoon bathroom break or not.

A Full Day sitting is when I need to stop in at your house 4-6 times a day for bathroom breaks, feedings, and play time. Each visit will range from 20-60 minutes, depending on your pet(s). Full Day sittings have the same rate that sleepover sittings have, this is due to how many times I have to drive to and from your house and the fact that I cannot overlap it with a sleepover sitting. Rates are: 4 drop-ins $60, 5 drop-ins $70, and 6 Drop-ins $80 a day.

I cannot overlap sittings that are overnights or full day sittings. I have no problem overlapping drop-in sittings and/or drop-ins with overnight sittings or full day sittings, provided they work with the sitting's time frames.
To ensure I have enough time in the mornings, I will not overlap more than two sittings/drop-ins at a time. So, a overnight/drop-in overlap, a drop-in/drop-in overlap, drop-in/full day sitting overlap etc. If my dog stop in is for a sitting (A non-weekly client), it will have a blue dot. Overnight and Full Day sittings will have a blue bar.
I do not have any farm pet sittings yet, so I am not sure if they will be more like overnight sittings or more like drop-in sittings yet, so this will be worked out in the future.

I do not do dog walking; however, if a daily walk is part of your dog's routine and I am sitting for them, I will walk them. I do need to feel safe while walking them, though. A quiet street with no sidewalks is fine; a busy street with no sidewalks is not happening. I am fine with driving pups to a nearby walking trail for their daily walk in the case of a busy street with no sidewalks.
Drop-Ins
Drop-In's for Cats: If I am sitting for a cat the drop in time frame will be anywhere from 20 to 60 minutes, depending on my schedule and how long the sitting is for. So let's say I am cat sitting for a long weekend, 3-4 days, the visits will last 20-30mins with the chance I stay longer. Now let's say I am sitting for 1 to 2 weeks, then the morning visits will probably be 20-30mins and the evening visits would be 30-60mins.

Drop-In's for Dogs: For normal pee break drop-ins, I will hang out with your pup(s) for 20-30mins. For drop-in dog sittings I will stay for 30-60mins based on how long the sitting is for, my schedule, and how many drop-ins are needed for the day.

Drop-In's For Other: I do drop-ins for rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, etc. Depending on what I need to do, past feeding and making sure water is available, will depend on how long I am there. I figure these visits will last between 15-30mins.

My drop-in rates are between $20-$25 for any drop-in.

I do not have any farm pet sittings yet, so I am not sure if they will be more like overnight sittings or more like drop-in sittings yet, so this will be worked out in the future.

I do NOT do daily drop-in dog walks. I tried the dog-walking thing before Covid, but the whole busy street with no sidewalk thing gave me massive anxiety, so I stopped. Most clients did not want to let me take their pups to a walking trial for a 30min walk either. The price for dog walking was also a pain to keep track of because there is a different rate for 30mins, 45mins, and 1hr. In the end, the stress and anxiety I was having walking dogs on busy streets was just not worth the money to me.
Calendar
I will try to keep the calendar as updated as possible, but at times it may be 24-72 hours behind. I have to log in and manually sync this calendar to my google one. I am finding that if my sitting schedule is really busy it's taking me a week or two to get the calendar updated.
Color Chart: A Red line is for holidays, a Blue line is for overnight sittings, a Lavender line is for drop-in sittings, a Yellow line is for an all-day sitting, a Yellow dot is for weekly drop-ins, Green dot is for my barn days, a Green bar is for sittings my cousin, Wren, is doing because I was already booked. Red, Blue, and Lavender only show as bars. Sometimes you may see a gray bar on a day/week, this means I may not be available for sittings or drop-ins.

I just put start and end markers on the calendar for sittings. For example, on September 18th, you can see I start a sitting for Olaf, you'll see the sitting end date marker on September 20th. I also add the start/end dates to the after the pet names.
My Holidays
I do charge extra for certain holidays, and my birthday :) Unlike Rover, though, I only charge extra for the day the holiday is on, not for the whole week the holiday is in. The extra cost is between $5 and $15 based on how likely it is that I will have to arrange my day around your pet(s). The holidays I charge extra for are the only ones I have on the calendar. My holidays are listed here and in red on the calendar.

Medicines/
Health
Oral Meds: I have experience giving cats, dogs, donkeys, and alpacas oral meds. I am comfortable giving oral medications.
Injections: I have never had to give an injection to an animal, but I am willing to learn how. I am fine with you teaching me how you give your pet the injection, or if you are not comfortable with that, my cousin is a vet tech, and if I asked I'm sure they would be willing to show me.

Special Needs: I currently have experience with animals that are deaf, have seizures, have anxiety, need their bladder expressed(little dog), and have three legs. However, if your dog, cat, goat, pig, etc. has wheelie legs on their back end or any other special need, I am fully willing to learn how to care for them.

Other: I am pet CPR and 1st Aid trained. I have a small pet only 1st aid kit in my car, but I am also working on making a bigger kit that is more personalized since I plan to care for animals of all kinds.
Facebook and Rover
Facebook: I do not use Facebook very often, so I am not currently planning to open a pet sitting Facebook account. The logo in the contact area links to my personal Facebook page. You do not have to friend me, but you can if you want. I do post pictures of my sittings on occasion. If you plan to go on a cruise or someplace with poor Wi-Fi/internet, Facebook Messenger will come in very handy for pet updates, and that's why I have the link to my personal page. I only have people I have met in person on my Facebook page, so no worries about joining some crazy page with 4K followers... I'm pretty sure I'm still in the double digits lol

Rover: I do not use Rover to schedule dog sittings any longer, but I keep it open for reviews and the fact that I can easily add pictures of my sittings to it. Please use the calendar on my website, not the one on Rover.
Barn
I work at a small barn in Attleboro three mornings a week. My time to get to the barn is very flexible, between 7am-9:30am. I am usually there for 2-3 hours. My barn days are Monday, Thursday, and Friday. In the Winter, I do prefer to get to the barn closer to 9:30am since it is not usually as cold out as it is at 7am. In the warmer weather, I do try to get to the barn earlier in the morning, to beat the heat lol, but 80% of the time I fail at this unless I have a sitting(s) lol
My Area's
I live in Norton, Ma. so, I do sittings and drop-ins for all of Norton. I am not far from the 495 ramps on Rt. 123, so I will use this as my time frame point for other towns. For any other nearby town, I do drop-ins within 20 minutes and sittings within 30 minutes of the Norton 495 ramps. The closest address to the ramps is Dunkin' Donuts, 246 E. Main St., Norton, MA, just so you have a solid address to check time frames.
Review's
I love reviews, especially the good ones. :)

There are two ways you can leave me a review. The first is to text me your email, and I will put it into Rover, and you will get an email from Rover with a link to leave a review. The second way is to just write your review in the contact box, and either I or my friend will copy and paste it on this site.
